Apton Hall wedding venue was created out of some disused buildings on a working farm between Canewdon and Rochford in Essex. The farm has a history back to the Domesday Book of 1086.
The venue is of superb quality throughout.. It has a beautiful courtyard for outdoor weddings and stables for the indoor ceremonies. Apton delivers a majestic space without the usual Essex barn feel for 200 guests.. This is every inch a contemporary venue in the heart of rural Essex farm land and oozes class and elegance.
We were very happy to photograph the wedding of Caroline and Tristan Squires. The hall was filled to capacity with friends and family who were seated on long benches. From a photographers point of view barns can be a tricky for maximising natural light, Apton Halls has a very modern feel with endless light coming in all around the reception room.
Caroline and bridesmaids got ready in the beautiful Grade 11 listed building while Tristan and other guests prepared for the day in in stylish, elegant rooms overlooking the courtyard.
The venue has 4 different areas to be enjoyed by guests during the wedding, making this one of the few weddings venues to be perfect for bad weather weddings. Plenty of areas that can be made use of during inclement weather. In case you haven't guessed, we LOVE this venue.
